North-Wells Summit

About us

We started to breed highlands in 1996. When we
bought our senior stallion North-Wells Summit.
At that time we lived in a small village called
Belthorn. Since then we have moved on to a larger
farm, here at Cockerley Fold, Oswaldtwistle. We needed more land to house our ever increasing herd of ponies. My husband and I, Paul and Stacey Walsh, run the stud with the help of my very
good friend Mandy Crane. She is joint owner of
Summit. Both Mandy and I have been stud grooms,
and have a wealth of experience with stallions,
mares and foals.

Here at Valerock, we have three stallions.
North-Wells Summit and Blairgowrie of
Whitefield and Strathleven Drumochter. They all stand at stud. We have breeding mares and a variety of youngstock.
We try to do a few shows every year. Depending
on work commitments.
Visitors are always welcome by prior arrangement.
